It's with great pleasure that I share my experience with Diversity at COIF. Knowing what Diversity means now, I cannot help but remember my first encounter with COIF during the Meet & Greet session last year. I felt so encouraged seeing in the room incoming and existing mentees, youth leaders, Alumni members and stakeholders from different works of life, backgrounds and social status.

It just got better when I started the mentorship program and interacting with my current cohort members who are obviously from diverse backgrounds, different religious beliefs and mindsets. We came from different diverse backgrounds all learning and growing under the banner of COIF. The core values of the organization (one of which is Diversity) that we are being taught is creating a culture of changed mindsets.

The fact that we are all different and yet embraced, is a proof that COIF takes Diversity as an essential core value in achieving its vision and mission towards National Development.

Personally, I believe that being part of COIF has shaped my mindset and taught me to accept the diverse nature of humanity. With the time I have spent in the organization, I have never seen anyone being disrespected or treated unfairly due to their looks, age, gender or religious beliefs.

Thank you COIF for giving me the opportunity to embrace diversity and inclusiveness in my interaction and decision-making process among my colleagues and the society at large!!
