Empowerment is known to be a process of becoming stronger and more confident in one's journey.
Young people are faced with a reality of uncertainty about our future. At COIF, we are reminded that we can have our dreams fulfilled when we believe in our inner strength.
Brene Bro beautifully puts it this way: "imperfections are not inadequacies, they are reminders that we are all in this together".
I remember when I started mentorship with COIF and within the span of one year got appointed as the Deputy Secretary General (DSG) for Coaches United Nations (CUNS) with the organization. I was empowered beyond my expectations with the required knowledge and skills and even given the platform to showcase what has been instilled me.
Today, I have completed 3 years of Mentorship and serving as an Alumni Member. I have also been appointed as a Mentor to raise and equip the existing Mentees and serve as a Speaker or Moderator for our events. Above all, I have fulfilled my long standing vision of becoming a Lawyer in my nation.
I strongly believe that the Empowerment I have received from my journey of Self-discovery, Growth and Leadership has contributed immensely to my Becoming!
I want to boldly share with the world today that each Mentee and Alumni Member of COIF are Empowered to continue learning and thriving to be the best of ourselves.
