I have learned a lot throughout my COIF journey. One of the highlights was the Learning Lab Day, which was very educational and gave us the opportunity to work in teams, discover the different talents within the cohort, and learn from one another.

Even during our regular sessions, there has been so much to learn from Simon, my cohort members, and Doctor. Everyone brings different experiences, perspectives, and lessons, which has made the learning experience very enriching.

The Peer-to-Peer mentorship was another valuable experience for me. I learned that having a skill is not simply about saying, "I have this skill." It is also about understanding who needs that skill, who you can offer it to, and how you can use it to create value and generate revenue. This changed the way I think about my own skills and how I can turn them into opportunities.

The Financial and the Relationship upskill mentorship sessions were also very impactful. I learned a lot from listening to people's experiences and understanding the lessons they have gained along their own journeys. From the financial mentorship in particular, I learned the importance of managing and financing myself properly and being more intentional about how I handle my finances.

Overall, COIF has taught me not only through the sessions and mentors, but also through the people around me and their experiences. It has helped me see learning as something that happens through collaboration, self-reflection, and the willingness to learn from others.
