POWERMENTI have been a mentee in Coaches of Influence Foundation (COIF) for two years now and for me, Diversity hit home on July 27, 2024, during our 'Alumni Fundraising Sports & Community Outreach' event. On this day, the incredible power of 'diversity' was illuminated in terms of ethnic and racial backgrounds.

Generally, the daily interactions I have with COIF leaders, mentors and my peers from various cultures has enriched my self-discovery journey, allowing me to appreciate the unique perspectives that each individual brings. The COIF Mentorship program fosters an inclusive environment where our diverse uniqueness is celebrated, creating a space for collaboration that inspires innovative ideas and solutions.

As I develop my leadership skills, I've come to understand that embracing diversity not only enhances young people's problem-solving abilities but also empowers us to break down barriers and challenge stereotypes.

This journey has reinforced my belief that when we come together, regardless of our backgrounds, we can achieve remarkable goals and uplift one another in the process. By sharing our experiences and supporting each other, we cultivate a community that thrives on inclusivity and mutual growth.
